Servant Leader Intern
The Servant Leader Intern (SLI) serves as a classroom teacher in a Freedom School literacy based summer enrichment program. The SLI helps to serve breakfast and lunch, leads a literacy rich curriculum during the morning, and leads/chaperones activities or field trips in the afternoon. The Servant Leader Intern should be experienced in working with groups of children, responsible, energetic, possess the ability to think on his/her feet, be a good leader and a strong role model.

Site Administrative Intern
The Site Administrative Intern (SAI) is responsible for managing, organizing and performing administrative duties for the site and, along with the Site Coordinator, serves as the primarily liaison between the site and Freedom School Partners’ main office staff. The SAI has a key role in ensuring that operations are effective and efficient, requiring strong organizational and customer service skills.

Marketing and Communications Intern
The Marketing and Communications Intern will support the Marketing and Communications Manager of Freedom School Partners (FSP) as well as the development team. This internship will give valuable communications and marketing experience in a non-profit setting. The Marketing and Communications Intern will develop a body of work and become an advocate for children and summer learning in Charlotte.

Supplies and Materials Intern
The Freedom School Partners (FSP) Supplies and Materials Intern is responsible for assisting with storage and supplies for 13 plus sites for the Children’s Defense Fund Freedom Schools® programs in Charlotte, NC. They will also assist in all scholar enrichment activities and signature program events, including field trips, on-site activities, city-wide events, supplies, materials, storage and kits. They will work as part of the Freedom School Partners team, assisting with other needs as necessary.

Technology Intern
The Technology Intern will support the entire Freedom School Partners (FSP) team, including the FSP sites across Charlotte, making sure the technology is set-up properly and maintained throughout the summer, and provide support to the central office.

Volunteer Intern
The Volunteer Intern works closely with the Volunteer Coordinator to deliver quality volunteer experiences for the benefit of Freedom School Partners (FSP), families, site partners, and volunteers.

Data and Analytics Intern
The Data and Analytics Intern (DAI) is responsible for supporting the data, evaluation, and impact work of Freedom School Partners. Primary duties include preparing and maintaining (cleaning, organizing, blending)programmatic and educational outcomes data; performing analysis that contribute to the program evaluation and historical impact studies; and conduct ad hoc analysis and data visualizations to support the program team leading up to, during, and at the conclusion of our summer enrichment program. The DAI has a key role in building the data warehouse and structuring the data for efficient longitudinal analysis.
